ScraperAI Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
ScraperAI is a Chrome extension that helps users extract structured data from webpages in their browser.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ScraperAI processes, what is stored locally, and what is sent to external services for Pro license activation.
Information We Do Not Collect
ScraperAI does not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information.
ScraperAI does not upload scraped webpage data to our servers.
ScraperAI does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioral tracking scripts.
ScraperAI does not remotely execute code.
Webpage Data Processing
When you click the scan or export buttons, ScraperAI analyzes the current webpage in your browser to detect product cards, tables, lists, and repeated content sections.
The extracted data is processed locally in your browser and can be exported by you to CSV, Excel-compatible XLS, or JSON files.
Scraped webpage content is not transmitted to ScraperAI servers.
Local Storage
ScraperAI uses Chrome local storage to save:
- Extension license status, such as Free or Pro
- License activation metadata, such as provider and activation time
- Browser installation identifier used for license activation
- Site-specific export rules, such as selected fields, renamed headers, and cleanup options
- Floating button visibility and position preferences
This information stays in your browser unless you choose to remove the extension or clear extension storage.
Pro License Activation
If you activate ScraperAI Pro, the extension sends the following information to our license server:
- Your License Key
- A browser installation identifier
The license server forwards the request to Creem to verify whether the License Key is valid and can be activated.
Scraped webpage data is never sent during license activation.
Third-Party Services
ScraperAI uses Creem for payment processing and license key management.
Creem may process payment, order, customer, and license information according to its own terms and privacy policy.
ScraperAI uses Cloudflare Workers to proxy license activation requests securely so that Creem API keys are not exposed inside the Chrome extension.
Permissions
ScraperAI requests access to webpages so it can analyze page structure only when you actively use the extension.
The extension uses this access to detect visible tables, lists, product cards, and repeated page sections for local export.
Data Sharing
ScraperAI does not sell or share user data with third parties.
License activation data is only used to verify Pro access.
